FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We invite you to browse some of our most frequently asked questions about our products, company, and how to become another of Lely's growing list of satisfied customers
1WHAT IS THE LARGEST TANK I CAN PUT ON A TRUCK THAT IS UNDER CDL REQUIREMENTS?
It depends on the tank material and number of compartments. Generally, either a 1500 gallon steel tank or a 2000 gallon aluminum tank with water compartments are the maximum sizes for medium duty trucks.
2SHOULD I BUY A STEEL OR ALUMINUM TANK?
It depends. There are trade-offs of tank life versus carrying capacity versus cost. Aluminum is one-third the weight of steel, however it costs more than a steel tank of the same size. Aluminum tanks are more susceptible to cracking and pitting over their life and it is more difficult to have repairs done on aluminum tanks. Your decision depends on your application and your budget.
3IS FINANCING AVAILABLE?

No, but we will list your truck on our web site and let our customers know what you have to sell. We have many customers looking for used equipment.
5HOW LONG DOES IT TYPICALLY TAKE TO BUILD A TRUCK?
It takes 6-12 weeks depending on options and availability of the truck chassis.
6DO YOU SELL USED TRUCKS AND UNITS?
We show used equipment on our website that our customers have for sale. We do not take trade-ins, so we do not keep used trucks in our stock.
